This is the black and white art for the X-Men cover I did for the French market. The X-Men figures were inked with "PITT artist pens" from Faber-Castell. The background villains were left uninked for contrast. Here is the final colored version: [link]
Beautiful work, sir! I love the contrast in the way you left Emma Frost as mostly line art, then inked the X-Men behind her and left the bad guys in pencil. It really gives a sense of depth when you finish each layer with a different media.
I used to work exclusively with the PITT pens myself. I'm having a ball giving the Copic multiliner SPs a run though. The SP brush pen is sexy. It's like the PITT but with more bounce I guess would be the word. I used them all in conjunction now. Need to pick up a new F pen from the PITTs actually. mine's close to death. I can just feel it.
