This is a short sequence I did the art for Uncanny X-Men #534. Had a lot of fun doing these pages, although it was the busiest month of my life. I had to deliver 8 painted covers and attend a comics convention in Brussels on top of these 7 pages. That's why I decided to go all digital. My friend Phil Briones had showed me Manga Studio a couple of month earlier, and I decided to use it for that story. After roughly sketching the 7 pages on paper, I tighten them and inked them on MS. Of course it was new to me, and I'm sure I'll do better next time, but still it helped me deliver the job on time!
very cool. use that same crosshatching brush in my inking alot. used it a ton on the Hell House book i did for Viper Comics. you can create some cool edges with it as well by using transparent or white and going negative backwards into your black areas.
